 5 Minutes
Opening Setting: 
A man named Tom is driving home 
Tom ” finally, I get to see my little girl”
On the other side of the street
Ben: Bro, quit drinking. 
Nicolas: relax I’ll sober up when we get to the hospital.
Ben: I’m worried man, my dad could be seriously hurt.
Nicolas: Listen your dad’s a strong guy, plus your moms there so try going slower for our sake.

Office (Day)
A man named Tom is typing at a computer
Tom: ah, what time is it?
Picks up phone and texts his wife
Tom: hey honey, sorry I’ll be late tonight. The boss is making me stay longer.
Wife: Again? Tom this is the 3rd time why can’t you just tell your boss no?!
Wife: All this overtime is going to get in the way of you and your daughter.
Tom: what do you expect me to do?? They need me they count on me.
Tom: Who knows maybe they will give me a raise.
Wife: work or your family? What matters more?? Just remember your daughter still needs you.
Tom: “why can’t you understand? I’m doing this for our family.”
New Setting: Outside Work Walking to car (Dusk)
New setting: Party 
A young adult named Ben is having drinks with a buddy named Nicolas


Ben’s mom: please then stay safe don’t go crazy with Nicolas.
Ben: yeah-yeah, Mom. We’ll be safe. 

Nicolas approaches with a cup of alcohol

Nicolas : Yo dude you okay?
Ben:  Yeah bro, just my mom being overprotective.
Ben: it’s a party dawg let loose.
Nicolas hands him the cup of alcohol.
Ben: thanks man

New Setting: back in the office 
Tom: finally that was the last email.
Tom: what time is it?

Checks time

Tom: I should be heading out now, hopefully I can still make it to put Shelly to sleep.

Back at the party
Ben: Seriously, I can’t believe lucas downed 9 shots, he’s crazy.
Nicolas: Right!- wait you got a message. 
 
Ben checks his watch 

*Mom*- Come home now. I know you’re not at Nicolas’ house. 

Ben: Dude I’m screwed we need to go home now. 

Nicolas Bro what.

Toms Car Driving (night)

Tom: I should be home soon, hopefully Shelly won’t fall asleep too quickly

New Setting: Ben’s car Driving (night)
Nicolas: you didn’t tell your mom we were going to the party
Ben: no of course I didn’t tell her! I knew she was going to say no.
Nicolas: Now not only are you screwed, I’m screwed!
Ben: Relax, maybe we can think of an excuse and say we were somewhere else.
Nicolas: We are so grounded.
Ben Gets upset while driving and hits the gas 
New Setting: Tom At intersection
Tom: Looks Left and sees car
Tom: Screams
Ben panics 
Nicolas: watch out! 
New Setting: Black Screen
New Setting: Ben’s car 
Ben Passed out at wheel
New Setting Outside of Ben’s car
Tom on floor not moving
New Setting: Black Screen With drunk driving warning

  I started looking for a group by asking people in my class. When I ask, said they mostly already had a group or knew who they were going to do it with. I then had to move to friends in other classes. I sent a message in our group chat, but most of them already had a group or weren't in the class. I found two people willing to let me into their group. Those three friends were Benjamin Adelson, Nicolas Williams, and Blake Dash. They were already in a group together. Eventually I was able to convince them to let me join as well. They were also both people I knew very well and knew we would make a great group. Our parent had already met multiple times so it would be easy to arrange a day we could meet up for the project. Production Blog

 Today I started off with the production of the video itself. I began by gathering the songs I was going to use. I had to download them but I didn't know how. I had to search up how to do it first. I found a website which could turn YouTube videos into mp3 files. I then used it to download the two main songs I would use. I saved them to my computer. I then opened CapCut and tried to insert them. It didn't work the first couple of times though. I had to search up a tutorial for CapCut. I was then able to figure it out. I inserted the music. I then went along to downloading the images which I would be using. I had to download them to computer through messages which gave me a bit of trouble. I was able to figure it out eventually and saved them to my computer. I then did the same with the videos. I had to wait a while as the files were relatively large. Planning For My Music Video

We started by trying to decide on our song for our music video. We wanted something strong and with meaning. We also felt it should be able to be molded into something we were proud of. we looked around for a while and decided on the song. We chose Umbrella by Beyoncé. We felt it would be a good match for us and our vision. For the video we only need a couple of simple props. We are going to use an umbrella and a hose. We will use the umbrella to shield us from the water we are using from the hose to simulate rain. For costumes we will be wearing casual clothing which we feel is not too important to get wet. We will try to do it when it is raining or cloudy. If we can't do that, then we will do it later in the day when the sun is not as high up so that it fits the environment for the video we have for the video.
