Today me and my group started deciding on each of our roles within our group. What I wanted to do was the editing part of the video. I asked the other members and we each agreed on our individual roles. My main role would be the editing. I would also play some parts in the filming process. My part in the film will most likely be as an actor for a couple of the scenes. otherwise, I am going to mostly focus on the editing and music creation of these videos. One major part of the editing process I needed to decide was the software I would use to edit. On the last video I made I used CapCut. CapCut was simple and efficient, more than any other software I tried. I thought about using a different software to expand my knowledge but started to really thing about it. I discussed it with my group members and we agreed that CapCut would be most effective for our video as the importing and exporting was so simple last time we used it. Once I selected the software, I began compiling some resources. The first thing I wanted to accomplish was getting the song more effectively, as the last time it came out sounding wrong. I was scouring the internet to find a good way to download it when I found it. By deleting some letters from the YouTube link, it would allow me to download it. It was by far the simplest way I could come up with. Once I downloaded it I saved it to my chat with the group, so that they could assure me that it would work. Once I was pleased with the download, I stopped for the day. Overall the day felt productive with each of us getting a role and me starting on my tasks for the project.
