Production Blog - Scheduling


Hi, its Tom again. When we were beginning with this we realized there was something important that needed to get done. We needed to set a schedule to work, and urgently. As a group we all have very different times we can work. With our differing schedules we had to set some days we could all meet together. We first thought it would be easy to decide but we soon realized how busy we really were. With work from other classes and predetermined plans, it kept being harder. The time frames that could work were disappearing no matter what we thought about. We kept having no luck in coordinating our schedules. As Nicolas had lots of preplanned sat prep for later, it was very difficult for him to have free time, especially more than the others. Although he was difficult, Ben also always had plans for the weekend and was difficult to account for. Nathaly had work many day and also was complicated. We decided on one week that could work for all of us. We had to clear our schedules out for it and make sure we had enough time in case more was needed. We also had the issue of who  would get what materials. We would need a couple different things. ranging from props to safety equipment. We decided to delegate those to each member at a later date. For this day we were content with deciding on when we would film and complete our video. We were now one step closer to achieving our goals for this film.

  I started looking for a group by asking people in my class. When I ask, said they mostly already had a group or knew who they were going to do it with. I then had to move to friends in other classes. I sent a message in our group chat, but most of them already had a group or weren't in the class. I found two people willing to let me into their group. Those three friends were Benjamin Adelson, Nicolas Williams, and Blake Dash. They were already in a group together. Eventually I was able to convince them to let me join as well. They were also both people I knew very well and knew we would make a great group. Our parent had already met multiple times so it would be easy to arrange a day we could meet up for the project. We also had classes together and saw each other everyday, meaning it would be easy to work on it. we are great friends too. Us working together would flow well. Hello, my name is Tom, and I'm 15 years old. I turn 16 in June and am a Gemini, although I don't really get what that means. I have two pets, a dog and a cat, their names are Oreo and Messi respectively. I love walking my dog around the  n eigh borhood and cuddling with my cat on my bed.  My favorite things to do are play video games with friends or go do things outside with them, such as going to the mall o r going to one of their houses to take a sleep over. Other things I enjoy doing include cooking an then eating said food, swimming in pools, but not beaches, and going out to eat. I love my Mom and Dad and they both care for me a lot.
