Production Blog - First Day Recording


Today we started recording. I prepped everything I needed and all the props we needed. I knew I had to get to Ben's house to record. I booked an Uber to get there. It was quite expensive but I already determined I had no other way to get there. I first took and Uber to Nico's house to meet up there. I then went with him in another Uber to Ben's. Once we got there we had to wait for Ben to let us in. We had to wait another 15 minutes for our last member Blake to get there. He also had to go in Uber so it took a while. Once we were all there we got a couple snacks and all our things prepped first. We then began recording. We started with all the outdoor scenes. We wanted to do them first as the weather was not looking great. Especially for the next day we planned to record. We got through it eventually, but it took a while. We had some issues with forgetting some props. We had to rush over to the nearest plaza to get some materials. Once we got back we finished up. We though it was a productive enough day. We decided to leave the indoor recording for the next day. We enjoyed ourselves a lot but also did some good work.

  I started looking for a group by asking people in my class. When I ask, said they mostly already had a group or knew who they were going to do it with. I then had to move to friends in other classes. I sent a message in our group chat, but most of them already had a group or weren't in the class. I found two people willing to let me into their group. Those three friends were Benjamin Adelson, Nicolas Williams, and Blake Dash. They were already in a group together. Eventually I was able to convince them to let me join as well. They were also both people I knew very well and knew we would make a great group. Our parent had already met multiple times so it would be easy to arrange a day we could meet up for the project. Hello, my name is Tom, and I'm 15 years old. I turn 16 in June and am a Gemini, although I don't really get what that means. I have two pets, a dog and a cat, their names are Oreo and Messi respectively. I love walking my dog around the  n eigh borhood and cuddling with my cat on my bed.  My favorite things to do are play video games with friends or go do things outside with them, such as going to the mall o r going to one of their houses to take a sleep over.
